Landscape of a Joyride

An evergrowing series of images of a personal "Project by Opportunity", called Landscapes of a Joyride.
Travelling around Central Australia we are confronted by car body after car body, in all states of decay.
I began seeing links between the landscape they were in and the patterns of rust and paint that covers the wrecks.
This extended into aerial views of the country wher some of the images are amazingly similar in terms of pattern and texture.
Then to take it a step further, i see linkages between this series, the aerials and some Aboriginal art.
My dream is a collaboration between a first nation artist and myself which will pull all this together.
